Effective January 3, 2025, the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) has added vinyl acetate to the Proposition 65 list as a carcinogen. This listing was done via the “State’s Qualified Experts” mechanism, based on the Carcinogen Identification Committee’s (CIC) determination that this chemical was clearly shown to cause cancer.
The warning requirement for significant exposures to vinyl acetate will take effect on January 3, 2026.
自(zi) 2025 年 1 月 3 日 起(qi)，加州環境健(jian)康危害評估辦公室 (OEHHA) 已將 乙(yi)(yi)酸乙(yi)(yi)烯酯 (Vinyl Acetate) 列入 Proposition 65 (CP65) 清單，并將(jiang)其分類為 致癌物。此次列入是透過 “州合格專家”(State’s Qualified Experts) 機(ji)制(zhi)進行，根據 致癌物識別委員(yuan)會 (CIC) 的判定，該化(hua)學物質已被明(ming)確(que)證實會導(dao)致癌癥。
